Well its Valentine’s Day, so I couldn’t let it pass without submitting a post on Love now could I?

Love …. It’s beautiful to be in Love. We all want to be loved, and we all want to be in love, even though that desire may have been deeply buried as a result of repeated pain around love and loving in our experience.

It is natural to love. Love is our very nature, and we actually cannot help but love if we are being true to our lives, being present and attentive to the situation now. This is the secret of love. Well it’s not a secret really; it’s just a rare condition, because you’ve got to be very still - not special - to be loved.

Being in love is an internal reality independent of another in the first place. And then, for us to be with another and to feel them so close because there is no distance between you and your beloved is truly a wonderful experience and blessing. This is true love. When lovers live and know that what they are is love, and then they come together in this knowledge, they can then Be in Love. Such love never dies. In fact it grows, happily ever after.

But that is not the way of it for most is it? True love is rare. Many have given up on it. And the reason for this is because people fall in love, rather than be in love. Its obvious surely; when you fall you will most likely hurt yourself. We fall in love, only because we don’t know what love is. When we meet and feel a connection with another it allows us to go deeper within ourselves, and we feel love, for that is where love comes from.

To the degree that you ever see the other as being the cause for you love, you will fall in love, and it is then only a matter of time before you hurt yourself and break up, or stay and live a half-life forever more.

Nobody is responsible for your love, but you. It’s you who is feeling it. It’s all yours. Take responsibility for love now. Put it back where it belongs, and watch it grow forever.
